Third Day of Valentines

Hello everyone.  I made the following card with a diecut from my Sweethearts cartridge.  I liked it.  It was my first attempt at this type of bow and I think it came out pretty good.  I usually am not able to tie them very well but it gives it a nice look.

This card was produced with the tree from the new Heritage Cartridge and some Martha Stewart butterflies and Cricut Hearts.  I am unsure where the white hearts were cut from but I did a bunch of them to keep some to the side.  The pink hearts are from Doodle Charms and have the slight scallop on them.  I also cuttlebugged the red cardstock behind the tree it is on the debossed side.  The sentiment is computer generated.

More Valentine Cards

I made this card with the Martha Stewart large heart border punch.  I thought I wasn't going to like the punch after my daughter convinced me to get it but it actually nice.  I like making the tops of inside panels with it as well.  I used Opposites attract for the font for this one.

I love the new Forever Young.  My daughters have probably cut more from it than I have but I decided to use the little frame and silhouette for this one.  I think a little girl or even a teen could enjoy this card.  I just typed the sentiment on the computer but now I'm glad to have my Verve stamps that I can use.

Wishing you a day of blessings and favor.

Valentines Day Cards

Finally I have found the time to photograph my Valentines Day cards.  I will be showing a couple of them each day over the next two weeks.  I hope you enjoy them.  Have a blessed day.

This card is from the Paisley cartridge.  It is the frog and it is popped up.  It is intended to be a kid's card.

This is a romantic card I cut with glitter paper from Love Struck.  I really liked the cut but I had to cut it twice.  I was going to put it on a black mat but decided to trim around the back black mat it was a lot better this way than with a square black mat in the back.  I also matted the glitter paper on a black heart that comes on the Love Struck cart as well.  I just put a simple inside where someone could write a personal love note.

Inspired Birthday Card

I can't say that I am the greatest card maker but when I make one like this I thank God for those moments of inspiration.  This one flowed from God's inspiration along with the needs of a coworker.  She wanted to make a card for her DIL.  It is like the blue one on my December 26th posting but came out more beautiful.  The lettering is from Gypsy Font and the flower in the inside is from Accent Essentials.  I forget where I got the leaves from.  I think it was from Cricut Ashlyn's Alphabet.  I also cuttlebugged the inside of the card with the bird and vine folder.  I can't remember its specific name.

I have a lot of Valentine's Cards I've created but haven't gotten around to photographing.  I hope to be posting those in the upcoming week.  I love the Love Struck cartridge.  It is very detailed but cuts out well if you cut each intricate cut twice.

I'll be back sooner than a month, promise.  Have a blessed day and weekend.
